Coded Lenna Images
Here's the ubiquitous Lenna. This has become a reference image
by which different encoding schemes are compared. Depending upon your
point of view, this is either good or bad. Above is the original
image which has been encoded below by the adaptive wavelet coder.
By clicking on each of the buttons below, you will bring up a rather
large 512 X 1048 image. The left-hand image is the encoded image, and
the right-hand one is a difference between the original Lenna and the
compressed version (difference images not yet available for JPEG).
